Updating Adobe Acrobat - CC or via Updater?

I've installed Adobe Acrobat Pro via my Creative Cloud subscription, but now I'm receiving notices to update Adobe Acrobat via a message thru the desktop updater. Creative Cloud shows that I have the most recent version installed. Which tool should I use to stay updated... CC or the desktop updater?

You may update Acrobat pro using Creative Cloud App or you may click the update prompt window and update it.

I would Suggest you Click on Help > About Acrobat Pro XI option once

It will show the version

latest update is Version 11.0.10.

If your Acrobat Pro XI is not 11.0.10, then click on update prompt and try to update it to the latest version

Interesting, I can see that my current CC version of Adobe Acrobat Pro is out-of-date (via the help screen), BUT CC shows that it IS up-to-date. I wonder how often CC checks to see that the installed apps are up-to-date?

If Creative Cloud App is not showing the latest update then you may try below steps once

click Gear icon on the top Right corner and Quit Creative Cloud App

Hold windows key on your keyboard and Press R key.

In Run window, type Appdata and click on Ok

Open Local > Adobe > AAMUpdater folders

Delete 1.0 folder

Then relaunch Creative Cloud app and check.
