Updating Adobe CS 1

I have a version and am using Adobe CS1. I'm running it on a Older Mac G4 using system 10.4. I have the opportunity to purchase a CS4 update. My question is, can I update from Cs1 to Cs4 and will it run on my older Mac?

    adobe no longer offers updates from cs1 to cs4.  it's possible (but not likely) you can update using whatever program you purchase, but you should take steps to ensure you can get your money back should your attempt fail.

    Also know that if the update license/serial number has already been used, it will be useless. People on all sorts of dodgy websites sell software that it not legit. I would never give my credit card information to them. If it is not for sale directly from a reputable company, I'd stay away. For example, sales from Amazon themselves should be safe. A reseller that works with Amazon is much less safe. We have had reports of some users getting scammed.
