I have a licensed standalone version for PC. How cam I upgrade to ver.6?
The upgrade link only points to "renting" a new version with Creatice Cloud for a monthly fee.
No option to call Adobe Support is bad service...

    Sorry. Not possible.
I had a chat with Adobe support. Lightroom 5.7.1 i final and end of the street. No more free updates. Lightroom CC is regarded as a NEW program, for a monthly subscription fee.
This is terrible! A subscription of CC will cost me the same pr.year , as the Lightroom 5 stand-alone I have used for many years now. A total RIPP OFF

No free upgrades, but here is what it says on that link

"You can also purchase a traditional license of Lightroom 6 for $149 (for those new to Lightroom) and $79 (for previous Lightroom customers). Please note that this version of Lightroom does not have access to any of the mobile or web workflows supported by Creative Cloud, and only Creative Cloud members receive ongoing feature updates."

Did the Adobe person say this is no longer possible?
