I am trying to update my Lightroom from Lightroom 6 to Lightroom CC. Already signed up as CC user but when it tries to update and install CC LR (2015) it only installs it to 50% and then stops. I un-installed CC Installer, rebooted my Mac PC and re-installed CC. I also un-installed Lightroom 6 and re-installed it - nothing seems to work. I really need help on this ?? Anyone please.
first try uninstalling lr 6 (and everythihng cc) via the desktop app, Uninstall or remove Creative Cloud apps
if that fails, use the adobe uninstaller in your lr 6 directory.
uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html
clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
restart your computer (don't skip this)
reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud using compatibility mode (https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb456979.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396)
use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials
