I have just taken delivery of adobe indesign CS5.5 upgrade for Mac. I told the sales guy I was switching from PC with Pagemaker 7.0 to Indesign on the mac. He told me I would have to input my pagemaker serial number. In the Mac install there does not appear to be an upgrade path from PM to Indesign!

Ajrd Barron if you are upgrading from Pagemaker to InDesign then you would actually need what is known as an upsell instead of an upgrade.  This is basically a full version of InDesign made available to previous Pagemaker customers at a discounted price.  I am not sure if your reseller had it available to them or not but you can certainly contact our Sales team to obtain additionial information.

I looked at our price list and the price is the same as the upgrade you just would in effect have a full version of InDesign, and no need to input the serial number from a qualifying product, as opposed to an upgrade version.

My pc is dead and I need to take action on this today. Where can I go, or can you send me links? I'm limited to my iPhone until this is resolved.
