An active plan will enable you to activate or deactivate apps on multiple devices. You can sign-in and activate on two devices, but only use your app on one at a time.

Thank you for staying connected,

To help determine the next step, can you tell me:

What is the exact error message displayed by Acrobat Pro XI? Is Acrobat Pro XI installed only on this one computer currently? Do you still have access to the old motherboard/computer installation, or is it no longer available? Because Acrobat Pro XI is a legacy perpetual-license product, a motherboard replacement can cause the activation system to see the machine as a new device and report that the maximum activations have been reached. The exact error message will help confirm whether this is an activation-count issue or a different licensing problem.

You said

No access to old motherboard

You said

exact error message is:

You said

The serial number XXXXXXXX is already in use on another PC. You need to deactivate another computer within 30 daysto use this License

Thank you for staying connected, since you don't have a access to the old motherboard, the plan need to sign out from the previous devices to use in the new motherboard.

I understand your concern. Since this is not related to the serial key itself but rather to the motherboard replacement, the system is detecting the license key as being used on multiple devices. To activate Acrobat Pro on your new motherboard, you will need to deactivate the license on your old device first.

Beyond this step, we are unable to make further changes directly. Please click on the link provided above to raise your issue. The dedicated support team will then contact you and assist you further.

Thank you for your understanding.

You said

You obv dont understand PCs or how they work, or there is a language barrier. The Computer and all of its parts are the ssame except the Motherboard.

You said

the same PC where adobe is installed is the same PC that says activated on too many devices

I understand your concern. Since this product has reached its end of support, our dedicated team is unable to make direct changes to your device. Before replacing the motherboard, it was necessary to deactivate Acrobat Pro on your existing devices. Because this step was not completed, the license key is now showing as already in use.

To resolve this, please click on the forum link provided above and update your serial number along with the issue details. The backend support team will then contact you directly and assist you further.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Agent said

Thank you for staying connected. We understand your frustration. Since this product has reached its end of support, there is no dedicated support team available for direct changes.

The best option is to raise your issue in the community forum using the link provided above. Please include your serial number and a brief description of the problem. Once submitted, the backend team will review your case and contact you to assist further.

Raise my question to non-employees of acrobat? this makes no sense

I understand your concern. If this were an issue with the license key itself, we would be able to assist you directly. However, since this is related to the motherboard and device configuration, we are unable to make changes from our end.

    • I am NOT a virtual assistant. I’m a human.
    • Replacing your PC’s motherboard without deactivating Acrobat first has caused this problem.
    • Your PC is a new device now.

It’s safe to say that you cannot deactivate from this device because that option ended when the old motherboard was removed.

Do you have Acrobat installed on any other devices within your reach?

    OTHER OPTIONS:

    Hope that helps.

Thank you for posting to this public discussion forum, Agent_Fusion.

I appreciate your long-term use of Acrobat, and I apologize for any confusion you may have encountered with the activations included with your purchase.

I don't see any individual licenses for Acrobat registered to the account you used to post to this public discussion forum, but please see https://adobe.ly/4oDTi2w for complete information on how to manage any remaining activations for an individual license for Acrobat.

If the Acrobat license was purchased in bulk or is a volume license, please update this discussion thread, Agent_Fusion, so that any available options can be offered.

Please be careful about sharing sensitive information, including serial numbers, since this is a public discussion thread visible to anyone with internet access.

I look forward to your updates, Agent_fusion. ^JW
