Question

Upgrading Photoshop Element on a new laptop

I have a new laptop and want to upgrade to the latest Photoshop Elements.  Do I have to load my old version (from 2008!) onto the new laptop before I can upgrade?  It's on disc and I don't have a disc drive on the new laptop so it will be a bit of a pain to do this.

Does anyone know if I can upgrade without having the 2008 version already on the computer?

Thanks!

    Hi,

If you have the serial number of the previous version, you will be able to upgrade provided you have purchased the upgrade license.

Thank you!  I have the serial number of my old version so I will go ahead with the upgrade.  Very excited to see what the new version is like!
