Upgrading to Photoshop CS6

I have Adobe Creative Suite 4, Design Premium and just want to upgrade my Photoshop to CS6 Extended, will the upgrade I download just upgrade my Photoshop and work?

    Upgrading from Design Premium CS4 to Photoshop to CS6 not avilable.

    However you can purchase the monthly or yearly subscription for Photoshop CS6 from :  https://creative.adobe.com/plans  (Select Single App for Photoshop only)

    or Full version Photoshop CS6 from : http://www.adobe.com/downloads/?promoid=KAWQL

    All user who already have CS3 or later can also purchase full CCM subscription on discounted rates for 1 year from : https://creativecloud-specialoffer.adobe.com/special-offer/?loc=en_US&cc=us

    I should also mention that the general rule is that if you own a suite you have to upgrade the suite... individual products within the suite cannot be upgraded.  You can seek special consideration from Customer Support for what you want to do, but the decision is theirs.

    You cannot upgrade a CS4 product to CS6.  You need to buy the full version.  As of January of this year the policy for upgrades changed such that you can only upgrade from CS5+.
