Use Cloud only with no desktop to store files?

I like to back up my photos on the Creative Cloud, but I'm wondering if I can store them only on the Creative Cloud and not on my desktop as well, to save desktop storage. Is it possible to do so?

Do not synchronize and use the browser to upload.

But it’s a awful idea.
