Useless support chat, photography plan, gaps in prices.

I had a few questions for adobe, so I tried really hard to reach someone who could answer them on the chat service.

At first, the chat started with an operator. I wanted to ask a few questions.

First was, that I´ve found a gap betwwen prices on EU(CZ) and USA websites of adobe on the photography plan. On the US website they have photography plan for 9.99 USD (approx. 230 CZK - local currency in czech republic), on the "czech" website, there is price in EUR show, and it is for 12.09 EUR ( approx. 320 CZK ) and I wanted to ask why is there such a gap? The operator was not able to answer my question and only wrote that the websites show always the local currency, even though it is not true. After their message the chat somehow closed or something as I was unable to answer or ask something else, or be more specific. WHen I enter czcech website, prices are in EUR. (as I show on the picture below.)

Second question was about the possibility of some student discount on the pohotography plan. I actually wanted to ask this, but i didn't have any expectations form that. But a haven't gotten any chance.

Is there someone who can explain me my questions?

Thanks for any information.

Pricing is different in different countries for a variety of reasons. You should check out the prices in Australia - unless something changed since the last time I looked, they're also very different!

This could be for a number of reasons. Taxes is a big thing - especially in the EU. That might be the bulk of the difference there. Sometimes it has to do with other factors too (such as import duties which some countries are beginning to leverage even on digital distribution). Pricing has always varied country to country based on things like local markets even before CC became a thing.

To answer your other question, there is no student discount on the Photography Plan.

Student & Teacher rates are only for the Full Apps Plan and, depending on where you live, only through an official reseller.

Okay, thank you. I haven't realized that taxes might be a thing even for digital products.

It's relatively new. Governments are trying to catch up to the digital age and they want their money!
