I need to use CS5 Web Premium on my new PC. What do I have to do to activate each program? Do I get new serial numbers?

I downloaded updates to all the CS5 Web Premium programs. I got the following message for each of them:

"There was an error downloading this update. Please quit and try again later."

Advice?

At some point in the past (I don't know the exact date) Adobe "merged" the original update manager into the Cloud update manager, which means you are no longer using your original update manager

I have read some messages that the latest (Cloud) updater sometimes doesn't work with old programs... Try installing your updates manually

Updates start here and select product, read to see if you need to install updates in number order, or if the updates are cumulative for the individual product http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

You install the same way you did the 1st time... put your disc in the drive and enter your serial number when asked, or download the installer and enter your serial number when asked

kglad links in reply #1 here https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2440696 to download program installers

--ignore the original question, you need to go to kglad's links in reply #1

-you will need to enter your original serial number during install for non-Cloud programs

Two ideas that MAY work to install and/or run old programs in Windows 10

-RIGHT click the program icon or EXE and select a compatibility mode in the pop up option window

-or Run as Administrator http://forums.adobe.com/thread/969395 to assign FULL Windows permissions may help... this says Encore, but is sometimes required for ALL Adobe programs (this is NOT the same as using an Administrator account) so follow the instructions for your specific program

The reason I am using a new PC is that I lost all the information on the old PC including serial numbers. When I go to my Adobe account and view my products, I see several serial numbers for the various CS versions I have bought over the years. I see one SN for CS5 Web Premium. Do I use the one SN for all the CS5 Web Premium programs?

You download the installer that matches your serial number... so a suite serial number must be used with the suite installer
