Validating software license loop

Hey,

everytime I try to start an adobe application a window opens "validating software license". After a few seconds I see the application popping up on the dock for a short time and then closing again. Then the PDapp opens again with the same message. It's an endless loop and I know this has been asked a couple of times but none of the solutions have helped me.

I'm using macOS Sierra.
I've already tried to reinstall adobe creative cloud manager and change the name of the opm.db file. I can't remove the folders SLstore and SLcache which seemed to help some people, but unfortunately those aren't in my library or anywhere to be found.

I'd be happy if anyone has a solution to this.
Thanks!

confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos?

if yes:

uninstall everything cc including preferences, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-remove-app.html

then uninstall the cc desktop app, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/uninstall-creative-cloud-desktop-app.html

clean your computer of cc files per http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html

remove Adobe PCD folder and SLStore folders,  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/configuration-error.html

restart your computer (don't skip this)

reinstall the cc desktop app, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud.

if you're unable to install the cc desktop app at this stage, use an administrator account (solution 4 here, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/creative-cloud-missing-damaged.html)

use the desktop app to install your cc programs/trials

thanks for your response.
I followed the first three steps. Unfortunately I can't remove the Adobe PCD folder and SLStore folders because they're not in my library and I have never deleted them.
