Verify email that's already been verified... what?

I am logged into adobe.com; however, whenever I go to log into creative cloud it says that it has to resend a verification email although I've already verified my email account. I don't know how to proceed, any suggestions?

Hi Jenna,

Please try to quit the Adobe Creative cloud application and then launch it again and sign in with your adobe id.

I just tried that, and I got the same thing. I'm going to uninstall and reinstall CC to see if that will work.
