    Viewing Flash content

Flash is supported on Amazon Silk  but is disabled by default.  If you see a  message to install Flash while using your Kindle Fire, this means that the  content you are attempting to view is a Flash file.  If you would like to open the file, you will  need to enable Flash through your Silk Settings menu.

    1. With  the Amazon Silk web browser open, tap the menu icon at the bottom of the  screen, then tap Settings.
    2. Tap  the arrow next to Enable Flash and select your preferred behavior: "Always  on," "On demand," or "Off."

If you haven’t updated your Kindle  Fire to the latest software version available, this setting can be accessed by  tapping “Enable plug-ins.” To update your Kindle Fire to the latest software  version, visit www.amazon.com/kindlesoftwareupdates.

Hi, first thanks for responding. I have tried numerous times to sign in to reply back, even reset password, but cannot get in., so am emailing.

I have a kindle fire hd, and nowhere on my Silk settings is Flash an option. I also noted that when I go directly to Silk thru Help, it says :NOTE. FLASH IS NOT SUPPORTED ON KINDLE FIRE , so I am at a loss as to what that actually means. Any ideas?

    Thx!
