Is there a particular reason for CC 2018 and which application are you referring to

yes because we use MAPublisher in a version not compatible with CC 2019 and later

According to this CC 2019/2020 is suported in version 10.5, although it only mentions Adobe Illustrator

Can't you upgrade to version 10.5
