Very, very slow slow updates

Normally, I have no issues updating my photography apps but this latest batch of updates Camera Raw, Lightroom Classic and Photoshop are driving me mad, they are so desperately slow. Apple Mac, late 2012, plenty room on my hard drive, my download speed is 30Mbps approx. Why are these downloads taking so long

    Geoff, when did you last update your CC applications?  Has any new security software been installed or updated since the last time you updated Photoshop and Lightroom?  Finally, do you ever receive any specific error messages, or do the downloads eventually complete and install successfully?

    No new security software has been installed or updated. The downloads eventually completed and installed successfully. I was asked by a member of the Adobe Team to send them logs which I did and waiting for further comments from him. Thanks for your response.

    Ok, thanks for the update, Geoff. Please keep in mind that the security software itself is likely being updated to protect from new threats. I would recommend bookmarking https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/customer-support-portal.html which provides information on how you can review and update your recent support case.
