View original document after OCR - Acrobat Pro

After running OCR via the Edit PDF tool in Acrobat Pro, I want to continue viewing the original scanned document with the searcahble OCRed file in the background. Most OCRed scans I have are naturally this way, but recently when I've needed to OCR pdfs I did not create, I am left with an awkward-looking editable text file and can't seem to find the right box to tick or setting to set to let me view the original scan. Surely there is a way to do this, what am I missing?
