While downloading the install files for CS3, my antivirus program Avast flagged the ADBESTDSCS3_ESD1_WWE.exe file "becuase it was infected with Win32:MdeClass". Is this something that i need to be concerned about?

Is that the NEW special CS3 installer?

CS3 and Acrobat 8 activation server is retired see reply #1 https://forums.adobe.com/thread/2372929

Yours is the first/only message I have seen concerning a virus claim, so I would check with Avast to see what they say... maybe even send them the file that Avast claims is infected
