Want to change to single app plan

I just renewed my subscription on February 8.  I downgraded from all apps to the photography plan of Lightroom and photoshop.  It wasn't exactly what I wanted.  I wanted to downgrade to a single app then choose between photoshop and illustrator.  But that option wasn't made available to me when my renewal came up,  I've looked at the options under my membership tab and do not see this as an option.  Yet, it appears on the adobe pricing page for new subscribers.  I want to know if I can covert my membership to a single app and choose illustrator? If not, why?

I do not know what you mean when you say "downgrade to a single app then choose between photoshop and illustrator" but if it is what it sounds like, you cannot have a single app subscription where you switch between different apps - you have to choose the one you want and stick with it - with the Photography Plan you have that for Photoshop already.  To go with Illustrator will end up costing you twice as much to have a single app plan for it, simply because the cost for it is higher than Photoshop.
