Want to uninstall CS6 from my old computer

I currently have CS6: Design & Web Premium (student and teacher licensing version) installed on my old laptop that I no longer use. I want to install it on my new laptop, but am not sure if the version of my CS6 can just be uninstalled from one computer & installed on another. Can anyone help me out on this?

You should be able to unstall it on a new computer without concern for the old machine.  You are allowed to have two machines with activated installations.

The old machine can act as a backup for you if you like.  If you prefer to free up space on the old machine or even just to have the spare activation available, then you can deactivate the old machine's installation by opening one of the applications and choosing Help -> Deactivate.
