WANTS ME TO INSTALL APPLICATION MANAGER...IT FAILS TO INSTALL THE CREATIVE CLOUD

I already have Creative Cloud but I cannot get updates.  It tells me to install the Application Manager again.  I do that with no problem, but when Creative Cloud is installing it comes up with an error that it has failed to install.
