Webroot Secure Anywhere "Suspicious Activity Detected"

Question

Webroot Secure Anywhere has been producing "Suspicious Activity Detected" dialogs the entire day. This is the first time I have seen this since installing CC over a year ago. Not sure how to determine if it is a false positive.

No particular CC app's were open in CC 4.3.0.256. Background activity shows Adobe CEF Helper, Adobe Desktop Service, AdobePCIBroker, AdobeCRDaemon,. CCXProcess, CCLibrary, Core Sync Helper running in Activity Monitor.

Should I be concerned?

Thanks Nancy…I would expect McAfee not to “flinch” since it is a single vector solution. Webroot works using journaling, which is completely different. Meaning Webroot usually doesn’t complain unless there is a valid anomaly. So, I guess I am still in the unknown here.Gary

I don't think it's malicious. It's probably related to the recent CC Desktop App update that rolled out automatically to me today & which contains many improvements over the old one. Maybe your AV is alerting you to those automatic changes and asking for permission to allow future updates.

My AV is McAfee which alerts me to everything potentially malicious. McAfee didn't flinch.
