Welcome/new file screen blank

I have just installed adobe cc apps photoshop and indesign on my new pc and when I open them the welcome screen in blank with rotating blue circle also the new file dialogue box is blank. other dialogue boxes seem OK

Can anybody help

Hi

Disconnecting the network made no difference, I have switched off the welcome screen but still have a blank new file dialogue box

with "%ccx_FNFT_DIALOG_NAME" in the top bar

Start by checking your network connection. The spinners appearing means it cannot load external content from the Adobe servers. feel free to just ignore this behavior and turn off the welcome screens from the Help menu.
