I had some problems with my computer last week and had some remote assistance to solve the problem.

BUT NOW, I tried to open my Photoshop Elements program and it no longer worked.

So I uninstalled it.

Now I am re-installing it. But I don't know how to proceed.

I downloaded the first part and I have a 7z file now with two folders in it, a PSE12 and a ReadMe

What do I do with these. I see an "Extract" icon. Do I click that??

    Downloadable installation files available:

Download and installation help for Adobe links

Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

I have no idea how to do this.

This is so frustrating. Why can't Adobe leave easy links to older versions.

I now have  an application file in my downloads. I believe this is the "second part".

How to I bring them together? I must be really computer challenged.

What happened to downloading something and having it install automatically?
