What does Invalid Checksum mean?

I am trying to download and install the Trial version of InDesign, and after a long download time it tells me that " The following disk images couldn't be Opened" because of "invalid checksum".


What do I need to do to fix this?

It would appear that your download got corrupted.  I would recommend deleting the file you downloaded and try downloading again.  If you continue to run into this difficulty you may want to try utilizing a different Internet service provider to download the file.
