what happens after 2 weeks test version

There are 2 versions of Lightroom: Lr Classic CC and the cloud based Lr CC. Which one do you have?

For Lr CC things are getting more complicated. Lr CC is cloud based and loads your pictures to the cloud. The free CC App allows for 2 Gb of cloud space, the paid subscription is available with 1Tb of cloud space.

In the beginning I thought you can, if you like the program, simply buy it without monthly paid subscription. but that's not an option, right?

No, except you want to invest in Lr6 which is still available. But there will be no upgrades, bug fixes and no new camera and lens support.
