When I download and try to install Adobe's Installer for creative cloud, I get Error Code 43. Installer was unable to copy a critical file/directory. Please try again.

When I download and try to install Adobe's Installer for creative cloud, I get Error Code 43. Installer was unable to copy a critical file/directory. Please try again.

This is on Windows 7 Ultimate SP1. I can't install any of the adobe apps.

  1. uninstall everything cc.
  2. rename the OOBE folder to OOBEold
  3. Download the Adobe Cleaner Tool from here: Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
  4. Open the Cleaner Tool and choose to clean "Creative Cloud" only.
  5. restart your computer
  6. Download and install tne Creative Cloud desktop app again - https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

I just tried this and It did not work. Still giving me the same issue. I did all the steps in the order listed.

When I go do the Adobe Cleaner it tells me that there is no session to remove and then it says it doesnt work. This computer is a fresh install so I did the clean all and still nothing.
