when i install my CS6 with my USB key, it tells me to insert a disc about halfway through...they didn't send me a disc...?

I don't know why i need a disc...they sent me the USB key which i'm using and pretty simple instructions...what am i doing wrong? how do i install this? Help!

    copy the installation files to a desktop directory and install from that directory.

    i'm sorry if i sound dumb, but i'm not really sure how to do that?

    do you know how to create a desktop directory?  if not, google it.

    do you know how to copy files?  if not, google it.

    when googling include your os in the search terms.
