When I recieve my softwre listing do I install all that have an "Install" & "Update" button beside them?

You can if you wish to but you might just want to install the applications you plan to use and hold off on any others until you determine there is a need for them - just to save space and time.  That way you won't be waiting for updates to programs you don't use and have less things for the machine to have to process.
