When I try to down load photoshop elements 12 I get a pop up - Download_Package.exe from red.protexis.net - What is this?????????

Why does a pop up Download_Package.exe from red.protexis.net stop me from downloading.  My computer advises not to.

    What is the original link you are using for your download?

    Did you buy the download version direct from Adobe, or from some other vendor?

    I bought the download card at Fry's and went to adobe.com/go/getserial, enter the redemption code and got the serial number, when I click on the download I get the pop up
