When I try to download Adobe Animate CC, Flash Professional CS6 keeps installing instead! How can I get Animate CC working!?

When I try to download Adobe Animate CC, Flash Professional CS6 keeps installing instead. I've ran the CC cleaner and restarted several times but I'm still not having any luck. What can I do to get Animate working?

    uninstall your cc manager.

    clean per Use the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

    restart your computer

    install the cc desktop app from here, Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe Creative Cloud trial

    use the desktop app to install your animate trial.

    did you check the installation directory for animate?

    How do I check that? Currently, I am trying to download it to CC from the Adobe website HTML5, vector animation software | Adobe Animate CC (Flash Pro)

    When it says it is downloading, in my CC manager, it says it is currently downloading Flash CS6.
