Where can I download a trial version of Creative Suite

My daughter is learning Adobe in school and I thought we would try the trial version at home before we buy it.  It turns out that our computer does not meet the minimum requirements to run Adobe Creative Cloud (specifically Premiere)

However, I was reading that there was a version called Adobe Creative Suite prior to this.  Could someone tell me where I can download a trial version of this software so that I can see if it would work on my computer.  We are running Windows 7 and Windows 8 at home.

She is learning Photoshop, DreamWeaver and Premiere with the last one being the most important application.  All of the links that I've googled seem to redirect to Creative Cloud.

Thank you for your time.

Straight up: You are wasting your time. If the computer is unfit to run Premiere Pro CC, then it wouldn't be able to run CS6 and that's all you can buy at this point. Chasing for older versions is therefore pointless. Seriously consider getting a better computer or at least upgrading its operating system so Premiere may run...

Thank you for your straight up answer.

I guess the issue that I have is I purchased a new PC in just the last 6-months or so and it has 8 GB of RAM and 1TB of hard drive space.  It is however a 32 bit processor instead of a 64 bit processor

When I tried installing applications through Adobe Cloud CC, the one that was unavailable was Premiere and when I Googled it, it was because, at least according to the link I had, it needed a 64-bit processor.

Does Premiere in CS6 need a 64-bit processor as well?

Does Premiere in CS6 need a 64-bit processor as well?

    Yes.

    • "Intel® Core™2 Duo or AMD Phenom® II processor; 64-bit support required"

Adobe Premiere Pro has been 64 bit only since CS5. We've had CS6 and CC since then. All 64 bit only.

Your daughter is going to need a 64 bit computer and 64 bit operating system to run Premiere Pro and other audio/video apps such as After Effects. There's no way around that.

Which desktop applications in Creative Cloud require 64-bit operating systems?

With the new CC apps, most of the pro video and audio applications now require 64-bit operating systems to run. These native 64-bit applications include Adobe Premiere® Pro CC, Adobe Audition® CC, After Effects® CC, Prelude® CC, and SpeedGrade® CC. Flash Professional CC, Photoshop CC and Lightroom® also require 64-bit on Mac OS.
