Question

Where can I download a version of Acrobat 8?

I have a new computer but can't afford to buy a new version.  It's possible I could upgrade but I need to install the old Acrobat 8 on my computer.  The CD is damaged but I still have the license.  Obviously I bought the hard copy product and not directly through Adobe (I think through Journeyed) so there appears to not be a download option on my account or with adobe.  Is there a way to download through Adobe or a safe 3rd party? I remember downloading a safe 3rd party once for my CS3.  TY

If you think you need to install version 8 in order to upgrade, you do not.  You will only need the serial number for version 8 to confirm eligibility for activation of the upgraded version.

Hi SunBeautie,

You can try download Acrobat 8 Pro from :http://technolux.blogspot.jp/2011/02/adobe-direct-download-links-less-akamai.html

This download will work with Retail / Single license only.

Please follow the Download instruction given on the page before clicking on download link.
