I bought Acrobat 8 professional. I use it all the time. had a security issue and did a clean install -- Adobe site says Acrobat 8 is not available ?!?!  I cannot download it again from the site.  How do I get it reinstalled? I have emailed them 3 times at 3 different addresses and no one has responded.  Any ideas?

Thanks!

if you follow all 7 steps, you can download a trial via one of the links on this page using a browser that accepts cookies: Download Adobe CS4 and CS3 Free Trials Here (incl. After Effects) | ProDesignTools

and activate with your serial number.

if you have a download problem (eg, you see an error page or you are offered an incorrect version), you probably didn't follow all 7 steps.  typically, failure to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 is the problem, but your browser must also allow cookies so that (a restrictive browser setting) is another potential source of problems.

thanks for this BUT...

There is NO link for mac. I am very upset! I called Adobe — the man on the phone said “too bad you don’t have Windows. We still have those links. Looks like you will have to spend more money and buy more of our products. "  I offered to upgrade if there is no Mac link to my 8 version - how about 9?  he said "Or maybe you can find someone on the web to give you a copy!"  No discount - no nothing -- just "too bad." I hope there's someone out there as disappointed in Adobe as I am and is willing to share!
