Where do my drawings go?

Hi, i am in need of bringing down my monthly costs and therefore thinking of cancelling my adobe illustrator monthly subscription. If i do this, will my files still be accessible? or if not, if/when i re subscribe will all my drawings/designs still be in my files?

Terms of use
4. Your Content. Will be helpful.
4.2 stipulates that you own the content you created.
When canceling a subscription, make sure that the content is stored locally, not in the cloud, as in linsims.

* When canceling a subscription, please note that 50% of the remaining period may be charged as a cancellation fee depending on the payment method and timing.

    Your files are your files. You won't be able to use Illustrator to open them or access them, but you can still send them to people and use them in programs that can read them.

     

    ETA: make sure they are stored on a system you have access to, whether or not your subscription continues.
