Where is Adobe Media Encoder?

I have a Creative Cloud subscription but I can't see Adobe Media Encoder in the list of available apps. What am I missing?

I believe it's a companion app installed automatically when you install Premiere Pro.

Can i also get it if i bought After Effects?

No. It was only bundled with Premiere Pro.

David this inquiry is coming up quite often suddenly.  Is there something in specific which is prompting you to look for the Adobe Media Encoder?

Hi Jeff,

Not sure I understand your question. I am prompted to look for it because I want to use it to encode media. I don't have other video editing software installed because I don't need any.
