Question

Where is the download file that installs acrobat on a computer without an internet connection?

Windows 7 coimputer, there is no internet available, so the regular setup files can't get online to grab the install files to complete installation. And I can't find a standalone file that I can download, to put on a thumb drive, and take to the computer I need to install the reader on.

I replaced the computer that I was using, that did have internet access when the program was originally installed. But this new one doesn't have Acrobat reader installed, and does not have an internet connection.

Ross-

If you are just looking for Adobe Reader rather than Adobe Acrobat, you can download that here:

Adobe - Adobe Reader : For Windows

Ross,

I am not sure from your post what version you are trying to install, but if it is  a CS5, 5,5, or 6 product, then please see the information below on a computer that has internet access to read about offline activation.

Activate your software offline

If the computer on which your software is installed cannot connect to the Internet or to Adobe’s activation servers, you can activate your software offline.

For instructions, visit www.adobe.com/go/getactivated.

Note:

Offline activation only works for CS5, CS5.5, and CS6 products. Online activation is necessary for Creative Cloud, Acrobat DC, and subscription memberships. For more information, see the Creative Cloud FAQ.
