Which OOBE file/directory is targetted

Running win7 64 bit

I joined CC maybe 6-8 mnth ago and now having problems re-installing the darn Desktop tool.  Even though It was installed and running yesterday. Now, I'm having problems re-installing it

There was a sort of recipe posted in bits and pieces here and other adobe forums that involved:

1) deleting a specific file/directory (not sure which)

2) Run the clean up tool

3) attempt installing the CC desktop tool again

I've seen posts describing certain specfic files that need to be removed when cleaning up for another attempt at installing cc_desktop.

At least one post mentions that user needs to rename the OOBE directory Before running the clean up tool

Now having trouble finding those posts with the exact paths... and I have found at least five directories named OOBE.

./Program Files (x86)/Ask.com/assets/oobe
./Program Files (x86)/Common Files/Adobe/OOBE
./Users/harry/AppData/Local/Adobe/OOBE
./Windows/System32/oobe
./Windows/SysWOW64/oobe

One at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE.  Seems to have more under it but then I don't find anything similar for 64 bit stuff under Program Files [without (x86)]

And finally one in my user account space: C:\Users\harry\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE

Can anyone shed light on which directories are supposed to be deleted?
