Why can't I download Photoshop Elements 2025 from my products page?

Went to reinstall PSE 2025 to help a user in a FB forum.   I noted there was not a download link to either PSE 2025 or PSE 2026 in my products listed.   All my other versions of PSE (and there are many) are listed and have download links.  In my products page was just a listing of the items included with pse 2026, and pse 2025, no download links.

I have done all the usuals: logging out / back in, turn off antivirus, rebooting,  etc…..

I was 99.999999% sure you could download pse 2025 from your products page in your adobe account- Has something changed regarding the downloads of pse 2026 or pse 2025?

I had to go here, using this link to download PSE 2025:

Am I losing my mind?

@Glenn 8675309 thank you for posting your question about downloading Photoshop Elements 2026 to this public discussion forum.

The download links for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements were removed as part of the move to three-year fixed-term licensing. Previously, the installation files available for older versions were tied to a specific license that included your language selection and the region where it was purchased.

This is no longer necessary; you can go to https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/download-and-install/photoshop-elements-downloads.html and download Photoshop Elements 2026 and 2025. Your active subscription will work with both versions, @Glenn 8675309

Please be aware that the files available at https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/download-and-install/photoshop-elements-downloads.html and https://helpx.adobe.com/premiere-elements/using/download-and-install/premiere-elements-downloads.html are not the applications themselves; a download will still be required to complete the installation process, @Glenn 8675309. Equally, backing up the files will not allow for future installations if the software is no longer available for distribution.

Finally, @Glenn 8675309, I noticed you both have subscriptions to both Elements 2025 and 2026. These subscriptions do not stack, so please avoid purchasing a new subscription, no matter how good the deal seems, until your subscription is ready to renew. This allows you to maximize the value of your purchase.

Please review and bookmark https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/download-and-install/activate-elements.html for more information about the updated process.

You are also not confined to Elements 2026 @Glenn 8675309. You will continue to be able to take advantage of the updates throughout the term of your active subscription.

I hope this helps, @Glenn 8675309. The way to obtain the files changed recently, which is why even https://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/using/download-and-install/redeem-code-for-elements.html asks you to download the files from your account. My apologies for any frustration and confusion.

@Jeff_A_Wright your reply that has been marked as correct is wrong!! The problem that Glenn pointed out was a temporary one that has now been fixed.  I have just confirmed that I can access a download link for Elements 2025 and Elements 2026 from the Products page of my Adobe account.

Furthermore, the Elements purchase is for a limited term license and is not a traditional Adobe subscription. Purchasers of the 2025 license do not get the new and improved features available in Elements 2026. So your comment about stacking licenses is IMO misleading to Elements purchasers.  I’m sure that was not your intent.

Thank you for reporting this issue and being patient while we looked into this. The issue has now been fixed.

You should once again be able to access the download links as expected. If you continue to experience any problems, please let us know and we will be happy to investigate further.

Thanks Medha for restoring the download buttons for the installers. This is important now that the software is linked to an Adobe ID and not to a serial number. In fact there are many threads in this community which point users to the products tab.

If it makes a difference, the first URL takes you to your subscriptions, the second goes to your serial products.

    1. https://account.adobe.com/plans
    2. https://account.adobe.com/products

    Hope that helps.

Unfortunately Nancy the download buttons under plans do not work. Elements users are best advised to use the products tab. Those buttons have now been restored by Medha from the Elements team.

I guess it varies by which products & plans you have.

I’ve never used Elements, so no direct experience with it.

I understand that some work is being done on the servers today and it should be completed by the end of the day.

Hi Sameer K, I see the same as Glenn. There are download buttons for perpetual software but download buttons for three year term licence are missing.

I can’t attach or insert images in a dm to you.

Below is a snapshot of the very bottom of my products page with some included notes.  I blurred out the one serial number- even though that version is about 15 years old.
