Why cant I reload Lightroom 6 to my windows 10 laptop

After a complete clean of my laptop i find my lightroom 6 will not load and notification says i must upgrade my browser to windows 11. My laptop according to the assistant states my laptop is not configured for windows 11 due to the processor size. Apart from purchasing another laptop with windows 11, how can i fix this? thanks

Lightroom 6 is very old and I am certain it is not asking you to update to Windows 11. The current version of Lightroom classic is 13.x. Try installing in compatibility mode as suggested, but at some point it may stop working altogether and you may need to consider upgrading to a photography or cc subscription.
