Why do I get no access after installation of the "published" creative suite 2

I installed CS2 from adobe website and I used the correct published serial number (removed by moderator) for my windows OS. Nevertheless I do not get access to photoshop. What is wrong.

    Not CS2.

    I bought Adobe Creative Suite Premium (Version 1.3).

    But as this version is not published at the adobe site, the chat operator told me to download CS2.

    CS1 ownership is understood to also qualify for the CS2 download/installation, so if your machine meets the requirements for the software (check System requirements | Photoshop) I cannot think of a reason for you to be denied access to any of the programs in CS2 made available thru the following page - be sure to use the correct special serial number provided.
