Why do I get the following message installing Illustrator?

Hi psifas2013,

Please refer to the following documentation on the same error:

And please send the pdapp.log file from %temp% folder and

Please share the log file for Illustrator from the  following location for us to ascertain where the update is failing :

  • Windows 32 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
  • Windows 64 bit (XP, Vista, 7): \Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\
  • Mac OS: /Library/Logs/Adobe/Installers/

This would help us in understanding as to where the updates are failing to install exactly.
