Why do I have older versions of Apps in ACC

Why does Adobe show me multiple versions of all of my apps in the ACC suite? Show me the latest ones. I don't need 3 versions of Photoshop and everytime I see there's an update I click it and come to discover it's some older version I don't care about. What is that. Hide that sh*t and if we want it we'll go search or sort. As a user I don't need to see everything all the time and if my primary concern is usung the latest and greatest version, then WTH? Clutter and cognitive load!
