Why do I have to struggle with "You have reached your activation limit"

I do apologise if this has already been posted, and I have been unable to find a means of contacting Adobe direct for assistance.

It would seem that I have been somewhat of a fool, and I blindly updated four devices to the latest versions of Lightroom/Photoshop et al.

I would get the previous "you have reached your limit" warning, with the straightforward option to log out of all the devices if I forgot ( which I regularly did).

Now, after updating, have tried, hopefully, having now manually logged out of all but the device I'm trying to use, I still get the limited device warning ( I have seen the images of the new warnings screens, which have a log out of option with named devices. I DON'T get that!!)

This is how bad its getting, I'm seriously considering moving to other photography/digital art options because all that is happening is that I'm going round in none productive circles...

dear Adobe, this is not good enough!!

Hi there,

We're sorry for the trouble you are facing. Could you please deactivate the devices from the Account page and let us know if that helps?

Please use this link to get the steps: Creative Cloud "Activation limit reached" or "Sign-in failed" error

Let us know if this helps! We will be waiting for your response!

Thanks

I have the exact same issue Since the update. Deactivating doesn’t help. Apps now unusable.

Hi Molly,

Thanks for trying the steps already.

Our team is already aware of this issue and is working towards the same. Kindly allow us sometime before we have a solution to this.

Thanks

Afternoon,

Sorry about the delay in replying, but I’m at work at the moment, and have only just stopped for lunch.

I will try the link later, when I get home.

But, if it’s the same as deactivating the various devices from the account page, I have already tried that and, at on stage, there were no devices showing on that page, but it still would show that the limit had been reached.

As I said, I will try the link later and let you know

Many Thanks

Dave.

Apologies - this is the image type I had once, and now don't get...

Device activation limit

I only get the script, as above, but with NO options to sign out of any other device
