Why does Adobe need three folders on the root of my hard drive?

.... and can I delete them?

MacOS, there's three folders; Adobe, Adobe GCData and Creative Cloud on the root of my hard drive which, apart from these is a clean and tidy space. I'd like to keep it this way.

    I, too, have the same problem.

     

    On my macOS (Mojave), I have Adobe GCdata folder keeps appearing everytime my computer turns on, with one file within it. It always has zero bytes.

     

    Is this Malware or a folder created from Adobe?

     

    My antivirus company, F-Secure, thinks it may be a hacker trying to enter my computer.
