Why does Creative Cloud not install Lightroom Classic CC on my Mac OS High Sierra

I am running ACC on my MacBook Pro under High Sierra and I am having a valid subscription. When I click on the Install button for Lightroom Classic CC or Lightroom CC nothing is happening!

I tried downloading and installing the app via different routes, but I am always ending up with the ACC Client and the same problem.

Does someone know a solution?

Dieter

Thanks for the update Dieter, Its seems that the Creative Cloud desktop app is corrupted.

Can you please try the steps given in the 'Solution 3' of the following help document to resolve this issue: "Failed to install" error received when installing Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app", and share the results with us.

Hi Dieter,

As you have mentioned you are unable to install Lightroom CC on your MacBook pro with High Sierra operating system, do you get any error code or message when the installation fails?

Are you following the procedure given in the following link to download the product:Learn how to download your Adobe Creative Cloud apps ?

Awaiting your response.

Hi Bani,

Thank you for responding!

Yes, I followed all the procedures mentioned in the link.

When I click the Install button I am not getting any response at all: no error code, no message!

I did not have this problem with PS CC, which is part of my package, because I loaded it down as a trial version without having installed the ACC client. After I purchased it, the trial version turned nicely into the version I am using now and the client shows it as active.
