it shouldn't, and generally doesn't.

you can reset it to see if that helps.

it always shows incompatible updates, this machine is running an older macOS, 10.13.6

reset the cc desktop app: make sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R
