Why does free CS 2 ask for serial key?

After downloading a free CS 2, I can install the program but it asks for a serial key to open the program.

CS2 is NOT FREE. If you do not have a license already you must delete it and not use it. Unfortunately, some web sites have the lie that this is a free version, but this is not true, and would leave you a software pirate.
