Why does installing Elements 14 on Mac OS El Capitan fail at %

Have tried all the fixes suggested online. Installation from both Download and DVD fail at the same point.

    Thanks for everyone's help. Adobe Support Online tried all the things I tried and they all failed at 2%, so they ended up deleting all the Adobe apps and files on my laptop. Once that was done, PE14 installed immediately. This morning I have restored InDesign CVS6, Bridge CS6 and Acrobat Reader — and update for El Capitan!

    Is there any installation failure message that you have received? Please try to Troubleshoot installation | Photoshop Elements, Premiere Elements | Mac OS

    Thanks for your interest. I should have said the installation always fails at 2% of 'Preparing to install".

    I receive an Error Code 7: unable to load driver. Have tried virtually everything suggested on the Troubleshoot Installation page you provided a link for.
