I am currently in a remote corner of the world with very poor internet where it is difficult to even log in to CC.

Now I get the message - Desktop app has an update would I like to insatll or quit. So why do I have to quit the app rather than be able to dismiss or update later?? It is poor to have to Quit and restart the Desktop App.

Geoff I am sorry but we have not implemented a postpone feature at this time.  You should still be able to utilize and launch your Creative applications without opening the Creative Cloud desktop application.

Except when it automatically tells you that you have 30 days left..... I think it is a poor implementation not to have a defer.

Apple certainly do.....

Geoff you should still be able to reactivate the software by ensuring you have Internet access when launching the application.  Also if you are annual subscriber you will have up to 99 days to use the software without Internet access.  Also for activation purposes it is not required that you have high speed Internet access.
